2016 is the International Year of the Pulse. In October, Foodies from across the state joined Foodie Coordinators to learn about cooking with beans and legumes at Sprout Cooking School. It was a fantastic day of cooking with Callum from Masterchef and Themis (Dietitian). The Foodies who attended will be bringing their new skills and information back to their local Foodie groups over the next few months

Relaunch of the Community Foodie Program. On Friday June 6th over 70 volunteers attended the event held at the Fullarton Community Centre to see the Governor of South Australia and the Minister for Health officially launch the new SA Community Foodies program. From June 2014 UCWB will deliver this program across South Australia in conjunction with UnitingCare Wesley Country SA and ac.care
